VA Concealed Carry Class (Basic)

Service Description

This class meets and exceeds the education requirements for you to apply for your concealed handgun permit (CHP) from Virginia as a resident of the state. This class is Virginia Code Sections 18.2-308.02 & 06 compliant and is required to receive your permit. In this 3-hour long class, you will receive: - An in-depth discussion on Virginia firearm laws. - A detailed review of Virginia Use of Force & Self Defense laws. - Review of where you can and cannot conceal carry in Virginia. - Essential gun safety rules. - Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. - Different types of pistols and which one is best for you. - Proper gun cleaning, maintenance, & storage. - Ammunition knowledge and selection. - How to maintain your skills. - How to Apply for, and maintain, the Virginia Resident Concealed Handgun Permit Must be 18 years of age or older to attend. PLEASE NOTE: Firearms and live ammunition are NOT permitted in the classroom. Please leave your firearms unloaded and locked in your vehicle. Please plan accordingly.
